Fuel economy, though I knew that I was getting a 6CL, so I should have expected to spend more gas but that was still one thing I did not like about it. It was quite difficult for friends who borrowed the car to find it. Now that I have heard few people had the same issue, I conclude that it`s an issue that GM had when building the car. I actually got compliments on the build and comfort. Besides that issue with the rack and pinion, I had absolutely nothing to complain about the car. I found out afterwards that many Saturn Auras had the same issues (leaking rack and pinion). But instead of changing the parts that were leaking, we had to take out the whole rack and pinion, which is not the way rack and pinions are built in other cars. After taking it to the mechanic, I found out that there was a problem related to the rack and pinion.

However, I had issues with the steering wheel. I had several road trips with it, and it was a smooth ride all the time. I owned a V6, so the power of the engine takes off quickly, handling turns and bumps very well. The interior is well done as well, very comfortable and spacious. When it comes to the look, I like more the rear end of the car as opposed to the front end. It gave off the "luxury look" with a very affordable price. The Saturn Aura has a very nice build to it. Overall, this car is great at getting you from point A to point B, you can always rely on it to fire up and start, but it is definitely nothing to get overly excited about. The wipers have proven to be the most expensive fix so far, I've had to replace the motor twice and both arms. This vehicle does not like the cold either and likes to throw all kinds of light (tire pressure, check engine, etc.) when it gets below freezing even though nothing is actually wrong with any of it. You have to remove a section of the grill and front bumper just to change out a bulb. Tail lights on this car are quite easy to change, but anything in the headlight department has proven to be very difficult to get to. nothing in that area is very cheap to fix, so it is definitely nerve wrecking that it's starting to do that. The power steering pump has recently started to make some noise, not entirely sure what is going on there yet, but as we all now. I do appreciate the fact that everything in the engine is clearly labeled and the things I've so far needed to check/ change has been very easy to get to. The door locks on the rear two door have a mind of their own and will lock/ unlock only when they feel like it. You have to manually flip them back off every time. Secondly, the blinkers will now not turn off automatically after you turn. Firstly, the main screen on the radio will sometimes just randomly go blank, you can still change stations and turn the volume up and down, but you can't actually see what you are doing. The car has 90,000 miles on it and seems to becoming down with quite a few electrical problems. The outside of the car is nice looking, but I personally feel it's a mix of trying to be hip and new, and also still looking like a "Grandma" car.

I however did not like the extremely light color of the interior and that has proven to be on ongoing issue on how to keep it clean. I felt like my passengers sitting in the back seat weren't going to be forced to sit right on top of each other and actually had room to relax. My first reaction to it was I really enjoyed the fact that for a car it was extremely roomy. I bought this car because I needed one immediately due to my last one breaking down.
